It has attracted more than 6,200 participants to an online, biweekly set of questions, each designed to educate players about the vital role pumps play in various industries around the world.

In celebration of Heart Month, the quiz featured a pair of heart-related questions focused on the most important pump of all—the human heart.

ERLANGEN, Germany (Feb. 5, 2014) – Siemens Energy and the U.S.-based company Zolo Technologies have expanded their previous collaboration to a worldwide license agreement for fossil-fueled steam generation boiler applications. Under the terms of the agreement, Siemens and Zolo will more closely integrate their combustion optimization products and actively extend their market activities beyond Europe into the U.S., China and other fossil markets in Asia.

O’Neill replaces former executive director Jeff Eger who resigned in July 2013. Dr. O’Neill has been serving WEF as the Interim Executive Director since Mr. Eger’s departure. Prior to that position, she was Deputy Executive Director.
