PITTSBURGH, Pa. (Aug. 5, 2013) – AMETEK Process Instruments has been awarded a contract to supply UV process gas analyzers for the Sulfur Recovery Units (SRU) and Tail Gas Treating Units (TGTU) at the Abu Dhabi Gas Development Company’s (Al Hosn Gas) Shah Gas Field project in the United Arab Emirates. The contract is valued at approximately $4.6 million.

HELSINKI (Aug. 14, 2013) – Metso will supply a biomass-fired heating plant for district heating production to Elenia Lämpö in Turenki in Finland. The heating plant is scheduled to go on-stream in the early winter 2014. The value of the order will not be disclosed.
GÖTEBORG, Sweden (Aug. 14, 2013) – Scanjet has received orders from Hudong Shipyard in China to equip 5+3 38,000 dwt chemical tankers being built for Stolt-Nielsen with the SCANJET “Surveyor” Tank Management System.
The system will cover monitoring and alarm functions including radar level gauging for all tanks onboard, high-level alarms and pressure plus temperature measurement, all of which are integrated in the “Surveyor” system.
