Originally founded as KTK on Oct. 4, 1973, the company became Control Techniques on Dec. 9, 1975 and was acquired by Emerson on Nov. 30, 1994.

BALTIMORE (Oct. 3, 2013) – After more than 10 years as part-owner, Danfoss has officially brought the Sauer-Danfoss business wholly into its business structure through an acquisition completed earlier this year – expanding the company’s business to include mobile hydraulic and electrohydraulic solutions. With North American headquarters in Ames, Iowa, the acquisition of Sauer-Danfoss signifies Danfoss’ continued dedication to the North American market.

AICHTAL, Germany (Sept. 2, 2013) – The Supervisory Board of Putzmeister appointed Dr. Gerald Karch as CEO and successor of Norbert Scheuch. Scheuch left the company in mutual agreement after four years as CEO, on Aug. 31, 2013. Gerald Karch joined Putzmeister at the end of 2008 and was appointed to the management board in early 2010. In addition to the CEO role he will also be appointed to the Board of Sany, subject to the usual appointment procedures.

OLD SAYBROOK, Conn. (Oct. 1, 2013) – Heather Howley will work alongside Laurie Auger and Michele Gometz in customer service for BJM Pumps. She will assist with inquiries, referring end users to the distribution network, assist customers with product price and availability questions and numerous other duties. Howley's background is in project management in the graphics and printing industry. She is a graduate of Middlesex College in Connecticut with a degree in Marketing.
