PITTSBURGH (Jan. 5, 2015) – Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based L.B. Foster Company has announced an agreement to acquire Chemtec Energy Services, LLC of Willis, Texas, a major supplier of blending, injection and custody transfer metering skids for critical uses in the oil and gas industry.

The acquisition expands L.B. Foster's ability to provide engineered solutions for the midstream market where a substantial amount of pipeline infrastructure is still needed.


KYOTO, Japan (Dec. 11, 2014) – Nidec Corporation has announced that it has agreed to acquire 100 percent of the shares of Gerate- und Pumpenbau GmbH Dr. Eugen Schmidt (GPM) from its shareholders through Nidec’s subsidiary, Nidec Motors & Actuators (Germany) GmbH (NMA(G)). WINONA, Minn. (Dec. 10, 2014) - RTP Company has announced the acquisition of three production facilities from Alloy Polymers, Inc. HOUSTON (Nov. 17, 2014) – Halliburton Company and Baker Hughes Incorporated announced a definitive agreement under which Halliburton will acquire all the outstanding shares of Baker Hughes in a stock and cash transaction. The transaction is valued at $78.62 per Baker Hughes share, representing an equity value of $34.6 billion and enterprise value of $38.0 billion, based on Halliburton’s closing price on Nov.


ROCK HILL, S.C. (Sept. 3, 2014) – 3D Systems (3DS) announced that it has acquired Belgium-based LayerWise, a provider of advanced direct metal 3-D printing and manufacturing services. LayerWise delivers quick-turn, 3-D-printed metal parts—manufactured on its own proprietary line of direct metal 3-D printers—for aerospace, high-precision equipment and medical and dental customers. The transaction is expected to be immediately accretive to 3DS' cash generation.

ROCK HILL, S.C. (Aug. 13, 2014) – 3D Systems (3DS) announced that it has acquired American Precision Prototyping (APP) and sister company American Precision Machining (APM), providers of rapid prototyping and advanced manufacturing, product development and engineering services, further
