BEAUMONT, Texas (January 7, 2013) – National Pump & Compressor continued its expansion along the Gulf Coast with the grand opening of a full-service branch in Lake Charles, La. The move to Lake Charles is a natural development for the company, aligning NPC’s objective to deliver unmatched support and turn-key equipment services with increasing customer demand. While the primary focus of NPC’s 32nd branch will be to serve the refining and petrochemical industries, the Lake Charles branch will also provide customers and the surrounding community with 24-hour rentals, sales, and services for large-scale flood control, disaster recovery, pulp and paper, and municipal applications. Regional Sales Manager, Ross Derouen, said, “The industries NPC serves along the Gulf Coast present unique pump challenges. Our Lake Charles team is thoroughly qualified in both technical pump education and on-site experience to meet these challenges. NPC succeeds by cultivating talented teams of engineers, salesmen, and support staff who work together to ensure an unparalleled customer experience. We will continue to push for excellence in our Lake Charles operation using this same ‘Whatever It Takes’ approach. On a personal note, Lake Charles is my home town and I am excited for the opportunity to serve this area.” Lake Charles Branch Manager, Austin Swindle, is an NPC veteran. Swindle has been with the company at the Beaumont branch for over four years and has risen through the ranks with his excellent work ethic, expert mechanical proficiency, and dedication to the NPC standard. Daniel Legnion will serve as local Sales Representative. Legnion most recently worked in sales at NPC-Houston, with friend and family ties to Louisiana, is eager to step into his new role and grow NPC’s newest territory. As for NPC’s future growth plans, Vice President of Operations, Jason Pyle, said, “Ultimately, we plan to have a branch within one hour of every major industrial facility on the Gulf Coast. With the grand opening of NPC-Lake Charles and business developing at its current pace, we can conservatively expect to reach this goal within the next 18 months.” National Pump & Compressor provides pumps, compressors, dryers and related equipment to businesses and municipalities.
