BIRMINGHAM, Alabama, USA (25 August 2014) – Pumps & Systems MENA, the new magazine for pump users in the Middle East and North Africa, has announced that Amin Almasi has joined its Editorial Advisory Board. Almasi is a rotating machine consultant in Australia. He is a chartered professional engineer of Engineers Australia and IMechE and a Registered Professional Engineer in Queensland. He specializes in rotating machines of several types, including subsea and offshore rotating equipment. He has written more than 80 papers and articles dealing with rotating equipment, condition monitoring, offshore and subsea equipment, and reliability. “Pumps & Systems MENA delivers great content for our industry in the Middle East,” Almasi said. “I’m excited to join their advisory board.” As an Editorial Advisory Board member, Almasi will be consulted on the latest trends and challenges in the MENA pumps market. He will also contribute a regular column, “Rotating Equipment Reliablity,” to each of the six issues for Pumps & Systems MENA in 2015.
