EDINA, Minn. (March 21, 2013) – Dow Water & Process Solutions (DW&PS), a business unit of The Dow Chemical Company, has entered into a collaboration agreement with Ahlstrom, a global high-performance fiber-based materials company, to use Ahlstrom Disruptor® technology for drinking water applications. The agreement combines DW&PS market, R&D and manufacturing expertise with Ahlstrom’s nonwoven fiber technology to address an unmet need in drinking water applications.

ROTTERDAM, The Netherlands (March 21, 2013) – LyondellBasell announced that OAO Nizhnekamskneftekhim, the largest petrochemical company in Russia, has selected the Spheripol process technology from LyondellBasell for a new 400 KT per year single-line polypropylene (PP) plant to be built in Nizhnekamsk, Russia Federation. Start-up is projected after 2015.
 

DALLAS (March 21, 2013) – Flowserve Corporation announced the installation of Flowserve pumps has begun at the Mittelsbüren combined cycle plant (CCP) located near Bremen, Germany. All of the major pumps in the 440 MW gas turbine power plant are Flowserve pumps, including high-pressure, ring section boiler feedwater pumps; vertical, double-case, multistage, condensate extraction pumps; and vertical, mixed flow, circulating water pumps.

MUNICH (March 19, 2013) – Littelfuse, Inc. has signed a new distribution agreement for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) with Arrow Electronics Inc., a global provider of electronic components and enterprise computing solutions.
 
The new agreement builds on the already strong global relationship between Littelfuse and Arrow. It consolidates the presence of Littelfuse across the EMEA region and opens new markets to Littelfuse, including the Middle East and Africa.
